Congrats Jamey and Jan!
I had the pleasure of photographing Jamey and Jan’s wedding last weekend in Charleston! It was a gorgeous setting overlooking the marsh inlet at Dune’s West. Gorgeous on its own, but Jamey had this vision of candlelit lanterns strewn through the moss draped trees. It was most certainly one of the most gorgeous wedding ceremonies I’ve ever photographed with the candlelights twinkling at dusk through the oak trees.
I never post this many images, but I couldn’t stop. I hope you enjoy it too and check back over the weekend when I update the post with a slideshow.
Calla lillies everywhere. They were beautiful.
Dressing and preparations…
A penny from the year her mother was born for luck.
Jan carried Jamey’s hankerchief from when he was a baby.
Something blue… she tucked it in a ring.
Did I mention how gorgeous Jan was?
One of the things that I loved was all of the special details that they pulled together. Each was special from the candle memorials to the favors, to this amazing twig tree with a sparkling tea light candle base and photos hanging.
Jamey was all smiles, all day long.
And his Gran’ma! I loved how he just hugged and kiss her as soon as he saw her.
The ceremony started just as the sun began to set.
